Hispanic/Latinx youth and young adults are an important, but sometimes overlooked, priority population for commercial tobacco use prevention and control. This webinar will present findings from the Beyond Demographics study, funded by the National Cancer Institute. We will address questions such as

  • What do Hispanic/Latinx adolescents and young adults think about cigarettes and  e-cigarettes?
  • How do Hispanic/Latinx adolescents and young adults describe their experiences using cigarettes and e-cigarettes?
  • How has the tobacco industry been targeting the Hispanic community?
  • What strategies can be used to best communicate about commercial tobacco use with Hispanic/Latinx adolescents and young adults?
