Evidence-based Public Health Practice: What It Is and Why It Matters

This presentation from the Region V Public Health Training Center will provide an overview of the principles of evidence-based approaches in public health.  It will include both the scientific basis for evidence-based approaches as well as the practical challenges of implementation. The focus will include what one can do as an individual (e.g., skill building) and as an organization (e.g., foster a learning environment).
