Measuring Sex, Gender Identity, and Sexual Orientation

Even though sex, gender, and sexual identity are essential elements of our identities, there are no standardized measures that could assess these components and their intersectionality. The lack of standardized measures presents a number of barriers, among them, is the difficulty to address disparities in health outcomes by sex, gender, and sexual identity. This webinar addresses principles and recommendations for standardizing measurements for sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
